What is a bookmarklet?

A bookmarklet is a normal browser bookmark but when you click on it, it will exceute a script.

In the case of ReadCast, when the bookmarklet is clicked, we will take the web address of the current page you're on and we'll create the article on our system.

Installation

Installation is different on each browser. We've got installation examples for both Google Chrome and Safari.

If your version of Chrome does not allow you to drag it, you can also right click on the button, click on 'Copy Link Address' and create a new Bookmark with the link you just copied.

Browser Support

Bad news is that some browsers don't like bookmarklets because they allow you to run arbitrary code in the browser. If your browser is one of the one's that doesn't like bookmarklets, you could also try saving via email.
